Intelecom is a leading producer of educational videos that support college and university curriculum. As more and more college professors are using the Internet to deliver their course material, Intelecom needed to change from video tape and dvd based delivery to online delivery of their educational video products. Looking for a partner to help them develop this new online delivery system, Cypress Consulting was engaged to develop a Flash based video player that interfaces with thePlatform's Media Publishing System. The INTELECOM Online Resources Network is the result, a fully searchable online database and digital content repository designed to meet the growing demand for rich media in support of online, hybrid and web-enhanced courses. Universities and colleges can obtain accounts, and professors can then browse and view the library of videos and embed student video links into their course material.
